Tulsa Hub is powered by volunteers!
There are a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer.
If you have an interest, please contact our office.
Adult Cycling Education (ACE) Program Volunteers
Program Volunteers greet new clients and help them understand how the ACE program works. You'd assist with the registration of new clients, interviewing them to determine eligibility and conducting follow-up interviews with clients after they earn their bikes.
Minimal computer skills are required (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar). Training is provided.
Volunteer Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am til 2pm and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm til 9pm.
Youth Bike Club Volunteer: PM
Volunteers can help with the Bike Club at Sequoyah Elementary School on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:45pm til 5pm.
Bike Club volunteers must attend a one-hour training and submit to a background check before volunteering.
Our curriculum is based in the work of the League of American Bicyclists, SafeCyclist, and Tulsa Hub's own proprietary kit.
Youth Bike Caravan Volunteer
In the spring of 2016 Tulsa Hub will organizes a Youth Bike Caravan at Sequoyah Elementary School. If the temperature is above 40 degrees, we'll ride.
Hours will be from 7am til 8am and 2:30pm til 3pm on days school is in session.
